Files stay on your device

Files you select, their names and contents, conversion settings, and converted results stay in your browser. BaroConvert does not upload or store them on its servers. Downloaded files are managed and deleted by you on your device.

Local presets and same-tab rerun data also remain in that browser. Leaving or reloading a page can remove results that have not been downloaded.

Accounts and Supabase sessions

Google sign-in uses the openid, email, and profile permissions. Google provides the account identifier, email address, name, and profile image associated with your Google account. Supabase processes this identity data, creates a Supabase user UUID, and stores necessary secure session cookies. BaroConvert uses the UUID to apply Account or Plus access and as Polar’s externalCustomerId; session cookies keep you signed in and are not advertising cookies.

You may sign out at any time. To request account-data access or deletion, contact kwanwoo@nomadable.io. Deleting an account does not delete files because BaroConvert never receives them.

Anonymous cookie and private quota ledger

Anonymous Free access uses a necessary signed first-party soft-quota cookie containing a random reference. It does not contain an email address, file data, tier, entitlement, or advertising identifier. Clearing it can reset the anonymous allowance; BaroConvert deliberately does not add fingerprinting or IP binding.

A private server-side quota ledger stores a nonreversible subject reference, reservation status, and reservation and completion times. It is used only to count successful UI-managed outputs in a rolling 24-hour window, prevent double counting, and release failed or cancelled work. It does not store file names, file contents, conversion settings, or converted results.

Billing

Plus checkout and subscription management are provided by Polar. The billing processor handles your email address, payment method, billing details, taxes, receipts, and subscription-management verification under its own terms and privacy policy.

BaroConvert uses the validated Supabase account user ID as the billing customer reference and receives subscription status and billing interval. BaroConvert does not receive payment-card details.

Optional analytics and service operations

Optional analytics is loaded only after consent. It may record page views, conversion lifecycle events, input and output formats, a coarse file-size range, and elapsed time. It does not receive files, file names, contents, exact sizes, email addresses, or payment details. You can change the choice in Analytics settings.

Hosting, authentication, and essential error or security systems may process ordinary request data such as IP address, browser information, requested route, time, and a safe error code to deliver and protect the service. Request bodies, session replay, and file contents are excluded from diagnostic telemetry.

Retention, choices, and contact

Account and quota data is kept only as long as needed to provide access, enforce the rolling allowance, resolve billing, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. Provider retention periods may also apply. You can remove browser cookies and local data through browser settings, withdraw analytics consent, sign out, or contact us about your data rights.
