Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of BaroConvert. By using the service, creating an Account, or buying Plus, you agree to the terms below.
Service tiers
Anonymous Free provides up to 2 successful UI-managed outputs in a rolling 24-hour window and uses the single-file workflow. Account is free, requires Google sign-in, provides up to 10 successful outputs in a rolling 24-hour window, and includes a 10-file batch queue with ZIP download. Ads may appear on Free and Account.
Plus requires an Account signed in with Google and has no daily output quota under the fair-use rules below. It includes a 25-file batch queue, up to 20 browser-local presets, same-tab batch reruns, and no ads. Calculator tools have no quota. Per-file size, format, and device limits do not change by tier.
Accounts
You are responsible for protecting your Google account and Supabase session and for signing out on shared devices. Do not share or automate one Account to avoid plan limits.
We may restrict or close an Account used for abuse, fraud, unlawful activity, attacks on the service, or repeated circumvention of access rules. Contact kwanwoo@nomadable.io to request account deletion.
Paid subscription and cancellation
Plus is a recurring subscription with no free trial. It costs US$2.99 monthly or US$29.90 yearly and renews at the selected interval until cancelled. Checkout and subscription management are hosted by Polar, whose buyer terms and privacy policy also apply to billing.
You can cancel future renewals through subscription management. The hosted destination shows the effective cancellation and access details for your subscription. Cancelling Plus does not delete your Account or files; BaroConvert never receives your files.
Quotas and fair use
Only a successfully delivered UI-managed conversion output counts. Failed and cancelled work does not count. Free and Account use a rolling 24-hour window rather than a calendar-day reset.
The anonymous allowance is an honest-client soft quota, not a DRM boundary. Clearing cookies may reset it, and we do not use fingerprinting or IP binding to prevent that. Deliberately bypassing limits, automating excessive work, reselling access, sharing Plus across unrelated users, or disrupting the service is prohibited. We may temporarily limit abusive Plus usage while investigating and restoring normal access.
Files and your responsibilities
Conversion runs in your browser and files are not uploaded to BaroConvert. You must have the right to use every file you select and must not process unlawful, infringing, harmful, or privacy-violating material.
Keep important originals and verify every result before relying on it. Output quality, compatibility, metadata, layout, and processing time can vary by format, browser, and device. Closing or reloading the page can remove work that has not been downloaded.
Availability and liability
The service may change, pause, or end for maintenance, security, legal, or technical reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every valid file will convert successfully.
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect loss, lost data, failed conversions, output differences, device limitations, or problems caused by a user's violation of these terms. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Advertising, changes, and law
Ads may appear on Free and Account. Third-party ad destinations and transactions are governed by the relevant provider or seller; BaroConvert is not a party to those purchases.
Material changes to these terms will be announced on this page before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes follow the courts with jurisdiction under Korean law. Questions can be sent to kwanwoo@nomadable.io.
